Operations Administrator
Position Summary:
Our Operations Administrator is a full-time, salaried team member who supports all segments of the Wojeski firm. This position primarily focuses on the final processing of clients’ tax returns, assembly and review of compliance reports and other correspondence for our audit department and creating annual tax organizers for use by individual tax clientele. In addition, this role assists in monitoring tax return workflow during busy season, engages with clients when they drop off information/pick up tax returns and provides additional administrative support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Process final tax returns for client pickup or mailing
Monitor tax return workflow during busy tax seasons
Proof, edit and finalize compliance reports, financial statements and mailings for our audit department
Assist in preparation of tax organizers and next year tax files for clients
Setup of client files when new tax information is received
Backup support for general business functions (scanning, filing, phones)
Maintain and promote the ideals, values, mission and vision of Wojeski & Company CPAs
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business preferred
Three to five years of experience working in a professional office environment (public accounting firm with tax filing experience a plus)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Strong work ethic and the ability to commit to work additional hours as needed during peak client service periods
Ability to multitask and prioritize job responsibilities
Excellent client service skills and associated professional behavior

Tax Managers (CPA)
Position Summary:
Our Tax Managers possess the ability to assume full responsibility for directing engagements and special projects and have the enhanced capability of supervising a number of engagements simultaneously. The Tax Managers oversee the performance of client service and all related activity including ensuring that assignments are accomplished by the engagement team timely within the budgeted time. This role contributes to the professional and technical development of staff through on-the-job interaction and training. Additionally, Tax Managers develop a list of potential referral sources to bring new business to the Firm and are involved in community activities for the purposes of business development. Tax Managers should also be developing expertise in one or more specific industry areas.
Responsibilities:
Review business, individual and trust tax returns
Develop effective working relationships with clients to learn their needs and provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
Plan and manage tax engagements to ensure exceptional client service while meeting both internal and external deadlines, coordinating staffing, time budgets, billing, and realization rates
Manage, develop, train and mentor staff including providing timely, specific, and meaningful feedback
Identify new client and business development opportunities including cross-selling and opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
Develop industry expertise including staying current on regulatory and industry changes, implementing new standards and technical pronouncements, and contributing to staff development through sharing of industry knowledge

Accounting Manager - OAS Group
Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager in our Outsourced Accounting Solutions Group (OAS) supervises the OAS team, manages staff workloads and supports our client’s bookkeeping requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage our OAS staff and their associated accounting workload to guarantee complete client satisfaction
Standardize and improve OAS practices and procedures while ensuring the highest quality final product to our clients
Review monthly account reconciliations and trial balances for periodic reporting to clients
Assist clients with tasks and issues that arise in the accounting function of their businesses
Recruit and hire new members for the OAS team and conduct team member performance evaluations
Coordinate training programs for new staff while identifying training needs for existing staff

Qualifications:

Position Summary:
Our Senior Tax Accountants provide timely, accurate and reliable completion of client assignments while ensuring delivery is consistent with Wojeski and client expectations. In this role, the Senior Tax Accountants focus on developing skills, building technical skills and understanding/executing diligent client service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns
Review tax returns prepared by staff for accuracy

Identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions

Position Summary:
The Accounting Associates in our Outsourced Accounting Solutions Group (OAS) support our client’s bookkeeping requirements.
Responsibilities:

Record daily transactions and properly post these to the general ledger
